WASHINGTON—The U.S. armed service claimed Friday that drone fragments recovered from an Israeli-linked service provider vessel broken in a deadly assault in the Arabian Sea past 7 days verify Iran was behind the incident.
U.S. Central Command, which oversees armed service operations in the Middle East and Afghanistan, produced photographs of the drone pieces, and claimed the debris, the proximity of the strikes to Iran, and the sophistication of the assault point to Iran’s culpability.
In the meantime, the Team of 7 primary economies and the European Union also placed blame on Iran on Friday, calling it a “deliberate and focused assault, and a obvious violation of intercontinental legislation.”
“All accessible evidence evidently details to Iran. There is no justification for this assault,” the joint statement claimed.
Ambassador Zahra Ershadi, Iran’s deputy agent to the United Nations, on Friday denied Iranian duty and accused Israel of “adventurism and destabilizing activities” in the location.
