Six workers killed, 17 injured as boiler explodes at NLC thermal plant

6 staff ended up killed and 17 many others ended up wounded when a boiler at NLC India Lts’s thermal electricity unit (TPS II) at Neyveli exploded on Wednesday.

The incident was documented on Wednesday early morning in Unit V of Thermal Energy Station-II, (TPS-II) though it was beneath shutdown and servicing pursuits ended up staying carried out. Fire broke out in the boiler location pursuing an explosion, NLC India said.
