After severing its ties with the BJP around farm charges, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Sad) has now questioned its members to resign from the posts held by them in the a few municipal firms of Delhi, dominated by its former ally.
The get together has made a decision to give up all the posts it jointly held with the BJP in any organisation, including the municipal firms, the president of the Delhi device of Sad, Harmeet Singh Kalka, reported at a push conference on Monday.
The Delhi device of the get together chalked out its upcoming course of action at a meeting of its core committee held previously in the day.

Kalka reported Sad councillor Manpreet Kaur has resigned from the put up of deputy chairperson of the Licencing and Tehbazari Committee of the South Delhi Municipal Company (SDMC).
The Sad had been contesting the Assembly and civic overall body polls in Delhi in an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP).
“The Sad leaders have to resign from this sort of posts that they held in an alliance with the BJP, looking at the get together leadership’s choice to go on your own in its political journey immediately after ending the ties with the BJP,” Kalka reported.
Sad leaders, at a meeting held in Chandigarh on Saturday, made a decision to break its ties with the BJP and quit the Nationwide Democratic Alliance (NDA).
