Nationwide Dairy Growth Board (NDDB)’s government director, Meenesh Shah has been assigned the supplemental charge of the publish of Chairman of the dairy body for 6 months, an formal assertion said.
Shah has taken around the supplemental charge as NDDB Chairman successful June 1, 2021 after Varsha Joshi’s tenure ended on May 31, 2021.
Notably, in November 2020, Joshi – then Joint Secretary (CDD), Office of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Govt of India was assigned the charge as NDDB after Dilip Rath’s tenure ended on November thirty, 2020.
Shah is also on the governing boards of NDDB arms – NDDB Dairy Solutions (NDS), IDMC Confined, Nationwide Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI) Ltd, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt Ltd (MDFVPL), etcetera.
He is also keeping responsibility as member secretary of the Indian Nationwide Committee (INC) of Intercontinental Dairy Federation (IDF) and also a member of the standing committee on dairy coverage and economics of Intercontinental Dairy Federation (IDF).
Shah, an alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), retains Put up Graduate Diploma in Rural Management. He graduated (BSc diploma) in Dairy Technological innovation from Sheth MC College of Dairy Science, Anand Agricultural College, Anand.
He retains multidimensional working experience in the dairy sector for more than 35 yrs in Research & Growth, Product or service & Course of action Growth, Project Appraisal & Finance, Cooperative Solutions and Project Management of Nationwide Dairy System (NDP I) – the recently concluded Central Sector Plan funded by the Globe Lender.
