India on Friday permitted imports of genetically modified (GM) soy food by a few more ports, according to a federal government buy, facilitating overseas purchases of the animal feed in massive volumes.

Friday’s federal government buy mentioned that apart from the Nhava Sheva Port, traders could now import soy food by using the Mumbai Sea Port, the Tuticorin Sea Port, and the Visakhapatnam Sea Port.
Reuters on Wednesday documented that India has contracted to import two,fifty,000 tonnes of soy food, which include 15,000 tonnes that Indian sellers had transported out only two months back.
