An Air India flight from Delhi to Moscow on Saturday had to return halfway after the airline’s ground workforce uncovered out that 1 of the pilots had examined optimistic for novel coronavirus, officers said.
“When the A320 airplane, which did not have any travellers as it was heading to Moscow to provide back again stranded Indians under Vande Bharat Mission, had attained Uzbekistan’s airspace, our workforce on the ground realised that 1 of the pilots had examined Covid-optimistic,” senior Air India officers said.

“The flight was instantly questioned to return. It arrived back again to Delhi at all around twelve.thirty pm on Saturday,” the officers said.
The crew has been quarantined. Another airplane would be sent to Moscow to provide back again the stranded Indians, according to the officers.
