France’s Macron Bets on Nuclear Power to Fight Climate Change

PARIS—French President Emmanuel Macron introduced a prepare to build six new nuclear reactors, betting on a technologies that provides electrical energy with almost zero greenhouse gasoline emissions but faces concerns about the superior price tag of new initiatives.

As part of the prepare, Electricite de France SA, the country’s point out-controlled electric power business, arrived at a deal to buy component of the nuclear steam turbine organization of General Electric Co., including many factories in France. The two sides didn’t disclose a selling price.
